Tool and Die Makers_Concord

Our client, one of the leading automotive manufacturing company, is looking for Tool & Die Maker, starting ASAP. 

Location: Concord 

Job Type: Full-time, permanent hire

Shift time: 

Afternoon: 3pm to 11pm 

Night: 11pm to 7am 

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Die maintenance, repair, improvement and die build/construction.
• Engineering change, general maintenance, trouble shooting and welding.
• Prototype, build jigs, fixtures and gauges.
• Maintaining spare tooling/components.
• Adherence to company rules and regulations.
• A knowledge and understanding of the quality requirements and procedures of the company.
• Safe working habits and the safety of fellow employees.
• Good housekeeping of work area(s).

Education:

• Ontario Licensed Tool and Die Maker – Certificate of Qualification OR minimum 10 years Tool and Die Maker
• Minimum Grade 12 Education 

Related Work Experience/Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years post apprenticeship or 15 years related trade experience.
• Must have own transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work all shifts
• Must be able to read, speak and write English
