Banking Service Officer II (Bilingual/Unilingual)

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Bilingual Service Officers to join their team. 

Contract term: 01/02/2019 to 30/08/2019

Pay rate: $17.34/hr (English); $18.34/hr (French and English)

Full-time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am - 5 pm or Mon-Fri 11am - 7 pm 

Must Have:

• Ability to read and understand financial statements, including consolidated statements and intercompany transactions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop (Outlook, Excel, Word), and Adobe (pdf files)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment while ensuring work is of high quality

Job Requirements:

• Read and understand company financial statements (company prepared, notice to reader, review engagement and audited).
• Use combination of GAAP, notes to financial statements, and overarching guidelines to correctly identify and input values from financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flow) of privately held companies into the Risk Rating model.
• Generate a BRR (Borrower Risk Rating) calculation for each request based on inputs.
• Apply requested adjustments to financial statements and create a revised set of financial statements and BRR rating.
• Understand intercompany transactions and apply the elimination of same to combine financial statements from multiple companies.
