Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Operations Officer III to join their Wealth Department. We are looking for individuals has advanced skills in Excel with banking experience and excellent communication skills.
Contract term: 07/01/2019 to 05/07/2019 (6 Months), potential for extension.
Pay rate: $19.85/hour
Full-time: 37.5 hours
Schedule: 8 to 4 or 8 to 4:30 and 9 to 5 (Flexible to work between 8 am to 6 pm)

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Client Reporting Team within Wealth Shared Services coordinates with our different vendors and internal groups to ensure client statements and trade confirmations are produced and mailed. We receive requests to reconcile account information reporting produced by two separate systems.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Client Reporting Escalation team in Wealth Shared Services of the company's Wealth Management Operations Division. The Client Reporting Escalation team is responsible for reviewing, investigating and responding to partners regarding statement and performance report inquiries from client facing agents.
Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be involved in several daily tasks such as:
• The Officer is responsible to perform accurate and timely investigations for inquiries received.
• Liaise with various internal groups on more difficult investigations to ensure complete and accurate understanding of data differences.
• Be responsible for the training of new team members.
• Act as an escalation point for the Client Reporting team.
• Be responsible for maintaining all documentation supporting investigations.
EDUCATION:
0-2 years experience in a Trade Processing related role, preferably experience with cash products (such as Loans, Deposits, Swaps and Forwards). Post secondary education required. 5-7 years of related experience required.
