Banking Funding Officer I

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Funding Officers to join their Finanace team. We are looking for individuals with previous data entry and Advanced MS Excel experience as well as previous banking experience.

Contract term: 6 months

Pay rate: $17.00/hr

Full-time: 37.5 hrs

Schedule: flexibility required; Mon-Fri 7:30am-12:00am, Sat 7:30am-8:00pm; rotational 

Must Have:

• Data entry
• Previous experience in credit and banking
• Detail oriented
• Computer savvy – MS office + toggle between different screens
• Able to meet and exceed SLAs
• Ability to multitask 

Summary: The Funding Officer will be using multiple computer screens and verifying information from the fax, and input into the system. Ensure credit application and documentation is in order. Responsible for completing 7 Auto Finance Contracts/Deals per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet aggressive SLA targets for New Funding deals.
• Ensure proper escalation processes are followed and exceptions within your authority are properly documented at all times.
• Work closely with both the Credit/Income & Accounting departments.
• Participate in individual focused Monthly Coaching.
• Work closely with Dealer Relationship Managers.
• Increase customer loyalty by participation in LEI action planning.
• Participate in the Quarterly Summit Award. 

Education/Experience: High school education required. Post- secondary education preferred. 1-2 years of related experience required.
