Global Training Coordinator

Our client, a leading global producer of fluid flow equipment, is looking for a Global Training Coordinator to join their team. This position will require someone will strong administrative/coordination skills, with preference of someone who has and is passionate about maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS).

 

Perm Hire, Full-time

Location: Scarborough, ON

Salary: $45K-$50K (will vary depending on experience)

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience working in technology, engineering and manufacturing operations in an industrial environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training principles, general practices, policies and procedures
  • Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures)
  • Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations
  • Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
  • Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
  • Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations; a second language would be an asset

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Coordination and Reporting
    • Coordinate all program activity including calendar arrangements, registration, attendance and follow up
    • Manage logistics for each training program including logistics, catering and hotels
    • Coordinate training support materials including shipping, printing, and posting on shared sites
    • Track training registration and follow-up and perform analysis on course attendance and feedback
    • Manage storage and posting of training materials (YouTube, SharePoint, etc.)
    • Establish and maintain a reporting dashboard for senior management
    • Coordinate and track the training budget
  2. Manage Training Database
    • Maintain eligibility data of employees and external sales representatives in the Armstrong Learning Academy including new registrants, changes to position and de-activations
    • Maintain database of individual training plans
    • Create and maintain a global matrix of each position in the company and the corresponding onboarding requirements
  3. Learning Event Support
    • Support special learning events
    • Coordinate communication of learning and training events
