Incoming Quality Control - Etobicoke

Etobicoke Leading Cosmetics Factory is hiring INCOMING QUALITY CONTROL.

LOCATION: Etobicoke (Rexdale and Kipling)

JOB TYPE: Temp to Perm position

SUMMARY:

The individual will also be assisting IQC inspectors in pulling of samples and preparing them for testing. There is a heavy administrative component. They must be able to do some lifting (10-15 lbs), pushing and pulling.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for inspecting all forms of packaging; ensuring all quality standards are met by following S.O.P.
• Ability to use measuring devices (calliper, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to manage Supplier C.I. concepts with CCL suppliers, including supplier visits and audits.
• Responsible for understanding S.P.C. concepts.
• Ability to use CCL computer system to control inventory (quality related).
• Ability to develop component inspection reports for new products.
• Able to perform office procedures and processes.
• Any other related duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Community College diploma or Certificate in Quality Assurance required.
• Knowledge of statistics.
• Acquired knowledge of Q.A. procedures (statistical sampling, inspection).
• Good mathematical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of computer is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience IQC would be an asset, but not necessary.
• Must possess a valid driver's licence.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime if necessary.
