Banking Administrative Assistant II

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for an administartive assistant to join their team. We are looking for candidate who has calender management exprience with strong skills on using outlook and providing admin support to multiple stakeholders. 

 

Contract term: 2018-12-03 to 2019-02-01

Pay rate:  $ 20/hour

Full time: 37.5 hrs per week

Schedule: mon-Fri 9am - 5:00pm

 

Must haves:

  • Calendaring outlook – managing multiple outlook
  • Polished professional and excellent communication ability all level stakeholders internal and external
  • Organizational skills
  • MS office suites
  • 3 years of Experiencing supporting managers on an admin capacity

Nice to have:

  • banking experience in administrative role
  • Financial institution background experience

JOB description:

  • Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
  • Design and maintain databases
  • Maintain and file or retrieve documents and reference materials paper and electronic
  • Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments, travel arrangements & expenses
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and events
  • Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
  • Receive and interact with incoming visitors
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels
  • Interact with external clients
  • Co-ordinate project-based work
  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary 

Education and Experience

  • Usually at least 3 years experience providing support at a high level
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Bachelors degree an advantage
