LED Lighting Technician (Scarborough)

Great Connections Employment is currently hiring for a Full time LED Lighting Technician position for one of our clients in the Scarborough ON area. This client is a leader in the industry of retail merchandising for over 30 years. This client produces retail fixtures; POP displays open service systems etc. For this position you must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with and present information to the client as required. You must also have strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Two years college or Technical Diploma/Certificate and three to five years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to program light drivers
Ability to draft and design wiring diagrams to ship with units for after sales and service
Intermediate understanding of 12volt, 110volt, 220 volt wiring procedures
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to test, evaluate, and troubleshoot electrical issues
Audio/Visual experience is an asset
CSA/UL approval is an asset
Soldering capabilities is an asset
Must have ability to travel, as this may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be accurate and detail-oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be comfortable lifting up to 30lbs and working in a warehouse environment
