Cook / Cook Helper

Our client is a leading Food manufacturing company located in Scarborough. Currently, we are looking for Cook/ Cook Helper to join the company

The Cook will be required to perform tasks involving physical labour (heavy lifting up to 50 pounds), machine operation. Also, involve mixing and cooking batches according to a set formula and customer specifications and will have overall responsibility for the batch produced. 

Specific Responsibilities:

·         Review batch formula procedure and verify that all ingredients are correct and present.

·         Stage and accurately weigh all ingredients according to the formula procedure

·         Operate and control all required blending and cooking equipment using HMIs

·         Provide product sample to lab for testing and verification

·         Preparation of totes and/or drums when required

The Cook Helper will be assisting the cook in performing specific responsibilities. 

Permanent Hire with Benefits!!!
$19.00/hr to $21.00/hr 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful candidates must have an exemplary attendance record.

Monday to Friday-  Afternoon shift: 3:30 pm-1:30 AM;

Weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday): 8 am to 8 pm

The company provides health and dental benefits. Prescription drugs are 100% covered, Paramedical (massage, physio, etc) is $500 per person per practitioner per year. Pension plan after one year.
