Forklift (Counterbalance, Walkie and Reach Truck) Night 11pm-7am -Etobicoke,ON

Our Client Leading manufacturer of Envelopes in Etobicoke is looking for a Warehouse Hand/Baler or Forklift

 Location:  Etobicoke (Humberline and Albion)

Shift:     Night shift (11pm -7am)

For training, might need to work in day shift.

Pay Rate:  $17.13/hr (Including vacation pay)

Duties:

• Clean out baler rooms into baling machine.
• Remove bales from machine and weigh bales
• Complete documentation
• Correctly log bale weights and other information
• Enter information into bar coding system
• Load bales, Blue bins, and skids onto trailer in an organized manner
• Ensure baler rooms are not being contaminated by foreign chip
• Remove skids of wrappers and replace with empty skids
• Responsible to clean top of baler at least once per month
• Deliver raw materials, cartons, and skids to machines & staging racks
• Remove skids of finished product from machines & staging racks
• Warehouse finished production
• Locate and pick outgoing finished goods in warehouse
• Prepare product for shipping
• Update inventory & locater in computerized database (data entry)
• Load and unload trucks (when necessary)
• Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times (including sweeping, mopping, & general housekeeping around the baler & baler rooms)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ideally 1 year minimum warehouse experience
• Lift truck license with 1 year minimum experience operating lift truck (counter balance, Walkie and Reach Truck)
• Computer skills an asset
• Ability to write legibly
• Basic math skills (to weigh & count bales)
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding need for Health & Safety and being alert in a manufacturing environment
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced environment
• Willingness to be flexible to accept assigned duties and work overtime, as necessary
