Banking Executive Assistant II

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Executive Assistant to join their Client Transfer Services team. We are looking for driven individuals who have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (dealing with executive levels).

 

Contract term:  2018-09-10 to 2018-12-28

Pay rate: $30.40/hour

Full-time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

 

Must Haves:

  • Calendaring
  • Scheduling
  • Booking travel
  • EA administrative experience 2 to 4 years
  • Excellent Communication
  • Time management
  • Excel – intermediate
  • Polished and professional

 

Nice to Have: 

  • Banking experience

 

Job Summary:  The main function of an administrative assistant/executive assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. A typical administrative assistant acts as information and communication managers for an office.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board and other meetings.
     

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5-7 years experience required
  • Experience working with executives highly preferred
