Production & Sanitation Supervisor

Our client is a leading Food Manufacturing company.  Currently we are looking for Production & Sanitation Supervisor to start ASAP in Hamilton location.  

Night shift 

Responsibilities

• As a Production and Sanitation Supervisor, you will plan and schedule production
  activity to optimize customer service.
• Meet production line staffing targets and ensure team members comply with plant
  safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure sanitation needs are in line with CFIA requirements as per the Quality
  Assurance team’s guidance.
• Identify safety and ergonomics concerns and ensure they are addressed properly.
• Ensure employees are trained and follow HACCP/GMP policies and procedures.
• Ensure product meets specifications, product quality inspections are documented
  and productivity is maximized.
• Achieve productivity improvements and waste reduction through Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement activity.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-10 progressive supervisory experience, preferably in food manufacturing or
  pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
• The ability to develop and motivate team members and elicit work output.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to communicate (verbal and written) and work efficiently and
  cooperatively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience in a unionized facility preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles preferred.
• University Degree in Business, Engineering or College Diploma in related field
  preferred.
