Quality Control Technician

A leading bakery company is urgently looking for a Quality Control Technician to start ASAP.  

Location:  Vaughan, Hwy 400 and 401

Shift:       Able to work days, afternoons, weekends, and nights

Pay Rate:  $18.5/hour

Job functions of QC Technician :

·         Candidate shall be responsible for conducting quality control checks :

·         Physical, sensory, chemical, visual

·         Metal detector monitoring

·         Raw material and packaging material verification

·         Perform sensory evaluation of shelf life products

Specific skills requirements :

·         1 – 2 years quality experience in food manufacturing is a must

·         Post - secondary degree / Diploma in Food safety, Quality, related field

·         Lab specific skills and knowledge of Elisa methodology

·         Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, CFIA, FDA food regulations

·         Adhere to GMP, Food safety and sanitation guidelines

·         Work in a fast paced, hot environment

·         Able to multi task and proficient in MS word
