Incoming Inspection Supervisor
Job Description:
1. Summary:
The Incoming Inspection Supervisor is responsible for managing and developing the incoming inspectors. The supervisor is also responsible for communicating the defects identified at incoming inspection with the supplies. The supervisor will maintain the records for the supplier performance and prepare reports on the supplier performance and will ensure all non-conformances are entered into C.A.R.s and are communicated to the supplier and that the supplier responds with a corrective action. The supervisor is also responsible for the LTQ items.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Training new Quality Inspector
Develop and maintain a Quality Inspector -- Training Manual
Maintain the CAR database
Enter Defects into Pronto
Communicate issues to the suppliers
Create Inspection Reports
Communicate issues to Engineering
Track DM
Manage samples and returns from other facility
Communicating the RTV information to the Logistics department
Manage Raw material containment
Manage, Review, and Approve tasks in PLM
Manage the ISO internal Audit Process
Write/Revise QC work instructions
Participate in and lead continuous Improvement teams
Criminal Background Check is a must
Shift: Must be flexible with daytime shift
Location: Etobicoke and North York, must own a vehicle to travel to different facilities
Wage rate: $43,000 - $55,000 per year TBD on experience
