Current we are looking for a Director of Distribution responsible for planning, directing, and leading the Planning, InventoryControl, Receiving, Order Processing and Returns & Refinishing departments, and strategies of the Canadian Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Alignment, work with the Executive Director to support the Distribution elements of the Global Supply Chain Strategy.
- Employ business analytical techniques to support Strategic Planning.
- Drive Performance Management, including setting clear individual and team business goals;monitors, tracks, evaluates and provides constructive feedback.
- Work with the management team that fosters a culture of Safety, Inclusion and Diversity and employee engagement.
- Develop and achieve annual Department Operating Budget and recommend Capital expenditures with a focus on cost savings projects.
- Develop, measure, and drive the planning and execution of Department Key Performance
Indicators (KPI’s)
- Build strong relationships with Key Internal Stakeholders (ie. Brand Customer Service, Affiliate Brand Leadership, GBSC, Global Transportation, Manufacturing/DC Site Leadership, EAS)
- Support Corporate Security to identify, assess, and prioritize risks; including application of
resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events.
- Maintain Regulatory compliance; including Health Canada, FDA legislation; CTPAT;
Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Federal, Provincial and Corporate EAS (OHSA; WSIB;
MOL; CLC)
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years of work experience within Distribution, and related Supply Chain environments
- Education: University Degree or College Diploma
- Licenses/Certifications: Professional Certification preferred (P.Log, CITT, CSCP or SCMP)
Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
- Embody the High Touch Leadership Competencies, and demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills (internal/external)
- Working knowledge of SAP; Warehouse Management Systems; Warehouse Control Systems and Loss Prevention and Risk Management practices
- Working knowledge of related Regulatory Legislation and compliance requirements
- Adept in change management and excellent planning, organizational and time management skills and an ability manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to drive lean/continuous improvement initiatives
- Financial expertise in budget preparation and general fiscal responsibility
