Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Receptionist to join their growing team. We are looking for applicants who have excellent communication skills, computer savvy with professional level MS suites and Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese.
Contract term: 03/07/2018 to 31/07/2018
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Full-time: 37.5 hours
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Must Haves:
- Mandarin/Cantonese language skills
- English communication skills
- Reception experience required
- Computer knowledge- Microsoft office
- Outlook calendaring- scheduling meetings
- Professional polished first point of contact for customers coming in
Summary: The main function of the receptionist is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greets and directs visitors
- Provides information and answers the telephone or console switchboard
- Receives and sends packages via couriers
- Maintains visitor log and/or call record, provides security passes/badges, typing, filing or other simple clerical functions
- Maintains boardroom schedule and equipment
- Provide other administrative support as required: typing, filing, photocopying, binding books, and preparing mailers
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking
- Customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one?s time
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-2 years experience required
