Banking Operations Officer II

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for an Operations Officer to join their Internal Transfers Retail Team. We are looking for individuals with previous banking experience, understanding of mutual funds, and excellent communication skills.

Contract term:03/07/2018 to 28/12/2018 (6 months), extension or conversion possible

Pay rate: $17.34/hour

Full-time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (some flexibility required)

Must Have:

• Flexible, hard worker
• Good communication skills
• Intermediate Excel working with macros experience
• Attention to detail and quick learner
• Banking experience

Nice to Have:

• ISM experience, Admin Apps
• Mutual Fund and GIC experience
• Recent graduate degree

Job Responsibilities:

• Processing retail transfers, requests forms, back office type work
• Communicating with internal partners or branches via email and phone
• Working on a ticket system, Admin apps and other various systems
• Working on registered products
• Accurately document and record customer/client information

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required and 2-4 years related experience required.
