Senior Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and foodservice products.

We are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager for the Bolton Distribution facility.

Permanent Role
salary $120K-140K (dependent on experience)
Reports to the General Manager
Working location: Bolton, ON

Responsibilities:

- Manage organizational performance and processes supporting best in class global supply chain, supplier performance, quality and distribution solutions.
- Work toward enabling competitive advantages and supports global expansion consistent with our values and culture.
- Coach, mentor, and manage staff that includes demand and supply planning, logistics and procurement.
- Implement Global Supply Chain best practices.
- Implement operational and systematic process improvement projects. Support cross-functional teams in implementing continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, in Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in global supply chain operations, including experience with: planning, sourcing, purchasing, production, manufacturing, quality assurance, and distribution of premium durable and non-durable goods.
- Experience working in a Corporate Global Shared Services environment.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Six Sigma (Lean Manufacturing) or APICS Certifications an asset.
- Experience scaling operations/supply chains in food service products.
- Experience developing, leading and supporting cross functional teams implementing continuous process improvements.
- Global mindset – seek out global opportunities and threats / engage cross-cultural interactions and value cultural differences.
- Technical expertise - skilled in operations specialties, remaining current as a resource across
manufacturing, sourcing, quality, logistics and distribution.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an inventory and logistics management.

- Strong understanding of EDI processes

- Strong understanding of ocean, air, and over the road (OTR) logistics and customs processes
