Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and foodservice products across North America, currently seeking for a Customer Service Manager join the team ASAP in Richmond Hill location.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To motivate change and create a new approach to improve Customer Service / Inventory Supply Chain
- Maintain an 85 % accuracy in our forecasting in supply chain
- Increase EDI capabilities to result in touchless order processing, and increased accuracy
- Support/Create processes for new product launch requiring special access
- Work closely with regulatory and QA to create corporate SOP’s and training manuals
- Develop metrics for CS department - on time shipping, phone call efficiency; inventory turns on a quarterly basis
Skills & Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of SAP (customer service and supply chain modules)
- Must have Packaging or Distribution industry experience
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Electronic Data Interchange
- Inventory Management and Supply Chain experience
- Customer Service experience
