Job Description

 Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Service Officer III to join their growing team. We are looking for applicants who have customer service skills, good communication skills and Fast learner, ability to work independently and in a team 

 

Contract term: 21/05/2018 to 23/11/2018

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour 

Full-time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm


Must have:  

  • Fast learner, ability to work independently and in a team 
  • Good customer service 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Outlook definitely- Microsoft office knowledge word, excel 
  • Administrative or customer service background 
  • Computer savvy with professional level MS suites
  • 2-4+ years experience as a Customer Service/Operations Officer working with clients over the phone

 

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of insurance

 

Job responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of administrative support to our business partners ensuring the optimal level of customer service and professionalism 
  • Manage efficiently in a multi-tasked environment and ensure deadlines are met 
  • Apply appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy in preparing and promptly completing all required supporting documentation
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality, escalate where appropriate 
  • Efficiently manage expectations/concerns through strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Maintain proficiency with software applications/programs and/or department specific systems
  • Efficiently manage and promptly respond to all incoming inquiries/requests for information independently or re-direct to the appropriate person/area 
  • Take initiative to identify and recommend improvements in own job function, research and/or investigate issues requiring resolution in order to execute on assigned tasks 
  • Assists with Departmental procedures to improve levels of efficiency and productivity. 
  • Ensures quality standards are met. 
  • Provides backup support to the reception department.
