Banking Contact Centre Representative - Inbound I

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for a Banking Collections Agent to join their team. We are looking for individuals  who can interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

 

Contract term:02/04/2018 to 02/07/2018 (3 month), possible extension and conversion

Pay rate: $16.63/hr

Full time: 37.5 hours

Rotation schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 am to 4 pm, 9 am to 5pm, 11am to 7 pm ,1 pm to 9 pm  Saturday 8am-4pm  (rotation within must be flexible)

Must have:

  •  Excellent written & verbal communication skills (e.g. Comfortable & confident communicating...)
  • 1 year Customer Service Skills
  • 1 year Data Entry

Summary: The main function of a Contact Centre/customer service specialist is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service specialist is responsible for determining the client’s issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customers service issues and resolving where appropriate.
  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results.
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

 

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software.

 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0-2 years customer service related experience required.
