Banking Administrative Assistant II

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. We are looking for administrative professionals with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role with some experience working in a Private Banking or Investment Banking environement. 

 

Contract term: 1 year

Pay rate: $19.00/hour

Full-time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

 

Must Have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Ecxel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work independantly or within a team
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Previous banking industry experience

Summary: The main function of an administrative assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by handling information requests and performing clerical functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties such filing, photocopying, and sundry duties as required.
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters and other documents as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize.
  • Must have previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years office experience required
