Banking Operations Officer III

Our client, a leading Canadian banking intitution, is looking for customer service represetatives to join their Telephone Banking team. We are looking individual responsible for reviewing SBB Deposit Account documentation to ensure compliance on new account and maintenance of signing authority is fulfilled in accordance with AML/KYC/KYB policy. 

 

Contract term:02/04/2018 to 01/10/2018 (6 months), possible extension and conversion

Pay rate: $18.33/hr

Full time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: rotational shift Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, ideally 8:00 am 4:30 pm and working 12 pm to 8 pm 1 day a week

Summary :The role of the Operations Officer is responsible for reviewing new SBB accounts and account maintenance (signing authority changes) to ensure 100% adherence to AML/KYC requirements are met. The Operations Officer is expected to meet Service Level Agreements and engage the branch to address and resolve any deficiencies. This role supports partner relationships and is responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness to ensure business objectives, Service Level Agreements and CEI targets are met.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Review 100% of new SBB accounts and signing authority changes for accuracy and completion of AML/KYC/KYB information required to adhere to AML/KYC/KYB compliance, inclusive of internal and external legal documentation, and provincial/jurisdictional requirements
  • Positively contribute to the overall customer experience and loyalty index in each interaction
  • Ensure all required processing and enquiries are fulfilled meeting Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure work volumes are processed accurately and effectively on a day to day basis minimizing risk to the Bank and negative impact to customer
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately & within established standard
  • Contribute to the achievement of satisfactory audits by understanding & following audit and process guidelines. Identify areas of risk and escalate as necessary

  • Support the team by continually developing knowledge and being current on AML/KYC/KYB requirements and regulations
