Job Description Essential Functions: • Oversee the ongoing design, development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns to build retail sales • Establish acceptable best practices and processes for implementation by the marketing team • Develop innovative strategies to achieve desired market positions for the company’s brands • Responsible for overseeing and managing marketing/communications budgets • Continually identify new and innovative marketing opportunities and to refine programs • Work directly with the sales and operations teams, to recommend, develop, and execute sales and promotional activities to achieve sales goals • Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts and business reports • Manage the execution of tactical elements of marketing programs and product launches, including setting up promotions, working collaboratively with marketing and the creative team, ensuring communication to all location staff • Create launch execution guidelines for all launches • Manage the creation, distribution and inventory of all collateral and in-store marketing materials • Collaborate on the work flow of design and web team which includes the creation/adaptation of marketing material • Provide detailed reports on all key marketing activities • Oversee retention programs and the launch of the company’s Privilege program • Manage email campaigns and other web based campaigns • Analyze results and competitive trends; provide feedback and recommendations Requirements: • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing management role • Undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, advertising or related fields of study • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change and shifting priorities • Must be a team leader and effective team player • Able to work collaboratively and independently, excellent judgment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience in developing acquisition and retention programs Company Profile --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GREAT CONNECTIONS EMPLOYMENT We are leading Ontario-based full cycle employment services agency, providing premium human resource solutions to clients, large and small in a multitude of industries.
