Install machinery and mechanical equipment Repair or replace defective machinery parts Perform routine maintenance work on machinery Program PLC’s Document activities as required and follow work order system Skills Required: Mandatory knowledge of electrical skills, indebt work skills ,Changing light bulbs, switches and testing power supply, concept of sensor, solenoids, pneumatic cylinders, gears • Must have 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred) • Proven skills with refrigeration (Ammonia and Freon), steam boiler and maintenance of high speed packaging equipment. • Excellent problem solving, accurate trouble shooting, good mathematical and strong written and communication skills • Strong knowledge of electrical, electronics and PLC’s. • Ability to read and interpret blue prints and diagrams to determine work procedures • Knowledge of GMP, CFIA, FSEP, HACCP, SOP and Health and Safety • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Heaving lifting capabilities • Available to work extended hours, shift work including nights and weekends. Education: • Millwright certification • Class B Refrigeration or stationary engineer third class certification of qualification. • Licensed Electrician is an asset. Salary: N/A
