Our client is a leading bank in North America. Job Description: Credit Centre Operations (CCO) is responsible for the credit process (including completing the necessary due diligence and compliance processes) of all Business Banking and Personal Credit. As a Credit Assistant your role is to review credit applications and follow up with clients regarding missing/incorrect information while continuing to provide excellent customer service and delivering a legendary customer experience to our partners. The successful applicant must have strong credit acumen and analytical skills or must demonstrate a strong knowledge of Personal Credit Products and Policies. Accountabilities: To the Customer: Optimize credit opportunities by assisting partners in completing and processing credit applications. Provide excellent customer service including responding to question and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Meet and where possible exceed SLA agreements. Contribute to operational improvements to streamline procedures/ processes and enhance service To the Shareholder: Protect the interest of the Bank by ensuring credit applications are completed in accordance with assigned discretionary limits and established guidelines. Perform due diligence in support of all credit applications. Escalate with recommendation those credit applications that exceed discretionary limits and established guidelines. Be knowledgeable and comply with Bank Codes of Conduct To the Team: Actively participate in the performance management process in support of own personal and professional development objectives Contribute to a positive work environment Participate in action plans to improve the employee experience Promote and encourage participation in community related activities Actively participate in regular meetings and coaching sessions. Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce Job Requirements Bilingual in English and French Individuals who demonstrate a deep Credit Products and Policy are preferred. Individuals who can work well independently and within a team Above average analytical skills, strong aptitude for problem solving and capacity for effective work flow, organization and planning Proven relationship management and strong customer service experience and skills Commitment to operational and service excellence Strong Administration and Customer Service background Work Hours: Rotational shifts between 7am to 12am (midnight) from Monday to Sunday – Flexibility required. FT Training will be approximately 2-3 months in Toronto work location and perm work location could potentially be in Markham TDB Info: Training times, Specific Shifts but they will always have 2 consecutive days off every week and exact training location (but in Downtown core.) The work hours include two 15 minutes breaks and half of an hour lunch break – same for every shift schedule.
