Receptionist II

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for a receptionist to join their corporate & investment banking department. We are looking for candidates with Receptionist and Calendar Management experience.

 

Contract term: 2018-02-20 to 2018-02-28 (1 week), possible extension

Pay rate: $17/hour

Full-time: 37.5 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

 

Must have:

  • Excellent English communication
  • Reception experience
  • Advance computer skills on Microsoft Suites
  • Experience on outlook calendaring, scheduling meetings
  • Professional polished first point of contact for customers coming in
  • Mandarin speaker highly preferred

 

Summary: The main function of the receptionist is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets and directs visitors.
  • Provides information and answers the telephone or console switchboard.
  • Receives and sends packages via couriers.
  • Maintains visitor log and/or call record, provides security passes/badges, typing, filing or other simple clerical functions. 
  • Maintains boardroom schedule and equipment.
  • Provide other administrative support as required: typing, filing, photocopying, binding books, and preparing mailers.

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.

 

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent experience. 2 years experience in Calendar Management.
