Packing Technician / Set up Technician

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Private Label cookies and biscuits. 

Currently we are looking for a set up technician to join the company as soon as possible. 

POSITION: PACKING TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: Hwy 401 and Hwy 400

SHIFT:  Afternoon shift                 

RATE:  $19.57/hr

Candidate must have the following abilities:

·        Must be able to operate, set up, change over and make minor repairs to various packaging equipment

·        Work with equipment such as vertical and horizontal over wrap equipment, cartoners, tape sealers, ink jet coders, metal detectors, sandwich crème machines, label applicators

·        Be able to prepare production and inventory reports

Candidate will have:

·        Exceptional attendance record

·        Ability to pay attention to small details, work with minimal supervision

·        Good written and oral communication skills

·        Excellent safety record

·        Sufficient physical resources to perform job duties
