Job duties :
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, such as automated packaging lines, robots, elevator systems, air conveyance systems, load cells, scales, production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring and testing instruments.
Able to use predictive maintenance techniques to troubleshoot equipment both electrical and mechanical
Respond to equipment breakdown. Troubleshoot and execute repairs in a timely manner
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
Write breakdown analysis reports
Repairs or replaces defective parts and Installs special functional and structural parts in devices
Search for components in electronic databases
Lubricates and cleans parts
Must be able to set up and operate lathe, milling machine, drill, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair part
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining function of water softener system
Perform specific assignments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
Maintain steam boiler systems and Utilize good hygiene manufacturing practices
Work in a safe manner understanding all industry safety rules and requirements
Skills & Qualifications :
Must be licensed Millwright Mechanic
Minimum 3 years of Millwright wiork experience required
Salary: $35.60 /hour
Shift: Day shift ( 8:00 am to 4:15 pm)
Benefits eligible after 1 year of service
